At ECONOS we are driven by a single, overarching goal: Creating a better maritime world. Our mission is rooted in the principles of sustainability, innovation, and collaboration. In a world where maritime transport accounts for approximately 80% of global trade, the importance of sustainable practices cannot be overstated. Our seas and oceans are vital ecosystems that must be protected from pollution and exploitation.
Since the 60's most boats and small ships are built of polyester and fiberglass cuttings, means a 30 feet ship weighs 4t or more. All the components become heavier as well, the drives systems have to be stronger, everything becomes more expensive.
We take a different approach: we use carbon prepreg in series production and can therefore use much lighter components, they also become lighter and MUCH cheaper. This allows us to offer fast, inexpensive boats with an incredibly low energy consumption.
